Love It or Hate It, Valentines Day...

Just around the corner is a day that has a love hate relationship with the world. Growing up with Disney Princesses mentality and wearing rose colored glasses as a little girl and young woman I think I may be a little jaded on the matter now that I have lived a little...even so, I still have a little hope in my pocket for romance. Although I feel Valentines Day is over commercialized and puts what seems to be a price on, "LOVE"
I believe it's a good reminder to let the people we hold dear know we love them.

-Randall-

"Honey Badger Don't Care..."

I got reeled in to watching this off my Facebook news feed and I'm so glad I did! Even on your darkest day just turn on a narrated video by Randall, it should cure whatever blues you may have. With a great sense of humor he attacks the wild life, pop & political jungle!
The Honey Badger video is set to beautiful classical music, and narrated with Randall's charming whit. It has even been quoted by a sports commentator and his shirts have been worn all across the globe. Before you know it you'll be recycling his quotes, too...
If your children know the difference between naughty and nice words feel free to let your kiddo's join in on the laughter.
This is my first Mini Movie Review and I'm glad because it's one of my all time favorite viral video series. Be on the look out for his book. It should be two hoots and a holler! Randall is pocket size too for your convenience, he even has apps for your phone.

-Mini Movie Reviews-

What is a, "Mini Movie Review"? It's short films or viral videos found on the internet up for review. Nothing seems to catch on faster than a video gone viral. The viral world is fascinating so I want to talk about them.

Please feel free to send
old and new
videos to me to review at

-We Bought A Zoo-

Once in a while a good story comes along about family and overcoming hardships that really hits home. This story is based on true events.
Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon) is a thrill seeker, a writer and a risk taker. When he lost his wife his life was turned upside down. Ben became a struggling father trying to raise his son and daughter. He has young son Dylan who's inner rage comes out in his dark art and antics in school while his daughter Lily is as sweet as peaches and cream. Ben searches for a fresh new start for his family by hunting for property. When he saw the place for the first time it was apparent this was the perfect place for his family, little did he know he was getting much more than he bargained for. Not only did Ben get a Zoo but the lively keepers with a tall order of requests of renovations to go with it. Ben was also met with the challenge of a inspection to reopen the Zoo. One of the keepers was a dedicated Kelly Foster (Scarlett Johansson)who helped guide Ben as he learned how to get a handle on the Zoo. The rules for inspection were tight and the inspector was by the book.
The imagery for the film was amazing the way they captured the animals was brilliant and gave me chills.

My favorite catch phrase:

"Give me some fork" (High five with forks)

Moral of the story; when in grief, buy a Zoo!
